Using the example from above we could now construct a PLC Timeline. First we begin with our priorities and those assessments that are provided. Next, look for the gaps in assessments. These are the times when as a team we create or use an available common formative assessment. In this example we can clearly see that there are several times that we will need a reading assessment and just because we give a monthly writing assessment does not mean we will spend a PLC each month discussing it because from this example writing was third in our priorities. Each grade level needs to prioritize and set up their PLC agenda per that prioritization.
